HM Queen Rania Shares Her Wish For 2019 With This Sweet Family Portrait

Courtesy of the Royal Hashemite Court.

This morning, HM Queen Rania Al Abdullah of Jordan unveiled a new photo herself and her husband King Abdullah II of Jordan, with their four children Prince Hussein, Princess Salma, Princess Iman, and Prince Hashem. The photograph appeared to have been taken at the Jordanian royal family’s home. “May we greet the New Year with gratitude for all our blessings and hope for a better tomorrow,” the Queen captioned the image.

The family is in color-coordinated outfits, with Their Majesties both wearing blue. King Abdullah is wearing a pale dress shirt, which he pairs with grey trousers, and Queen Rania is sat next to him wearing a long, light blue shirt dress with a maroon belt cinched around her waist. On either side of them are their children.

Prince Hussein is sat, with one of his arms around his sister Princess Salma, who is standing up on the far right side, and resting one hand on her brother’s shoulder. Opposite them, the youngest of the kids Prince Hashem is all smiles as he embraces his father and older sister Princess Iman.

Queen Rania often shares touching photos of her family with her 5 million followers on Instagram, especially on special occasions such as graduations and birthdays.

The sweet family portrait comes just one day after Her Majesty met with the women of Wadi Al Naqa village in Al Balqa. Her Majesty is a devoted humanitarian who has dedicated countless hours to supporting those in need. After meeting with the women, the royal posted a photo on her Instagram alongside the caption: “Impressed by the women of Wadi Al Naqa village in Al Balqa for successfully launching projects to support your families. Well done!”
