Gracing the cover of the third edition of Vogue Living Arabia, the ambassador of cultural development in the UAE, avid art enthusiast, and founder of the Fatima Bint Hazza Cultural Foundation and Al Shira’aa Stables, Sheikha Fatima Bint Hazza Bin Zayed Al Nahyan opens the doors to her English countryside manor–a stylish and elegant three-story abode that reflects her passion for all things equestrian.

Craftsmanship and personal touches run throughout the house, the key element of which is a much-loved stable. “The whole idea behind the house was to create a home away from home,” explains Her Highness, who, as an interior connoisseur, led the refurbishment of her residence with a team of architects and designers, ensuring that the house reflects her many passions–nature, animals and wellness.

In this edition, we step inside even more of the world’s most charismatic homes. In Paris, the grand doors of Sheikh Mohammed Bin Fahd Al Thani’s Parisian residence open to reveal an exquisite mural depicting some of the capital’s most magnificent 19th century landmarks. In Italy, Milanese couple Gemma Richards and Niccolò Rignano invites us into La Foleia, their Impressionist-inspired Italian getaway, while interior architect Gregory Gatserelia showcases a contemporary Beirut home with artful objects and an assured sense of taste.

The Pinboard section highlights the trends and moods of the season in statement tableware, furnishings, and decor. With sustainability at the forefront in the realm of interiors, we also discuss investment pieces with Yasmin Al Mulla, Nina Valjarevic, Omar Nakkash, and Arwa Hafiz, four Dubai creatives who share the sentimental furniture and accessories that give their homes warmth and life. Discover luxury bedding paired with fashion’s wonderfully jaunty creations. Moreover, we explore how the long-standing rapport between fashion and home decor is stronger than ever via the new home collections of some of the world’s most prominent fashion brands, from Dolce & Gabbana and Versace to Aquazzura and Hermès.

The issue also turns the spotlight on Bassam Alkhulifi and Saud Alrasheed, the two Saudi entrepreneurs behind Ghazlah Studio, a boutique collection of bright and cheerful rugs. The friends launched the project in the midst of the pandemic, in the hopes of creating pieces that can spruce up any space. “We wanted to find unique new rugs for our home but couldn’t find anything locally that we liked, so we decided to make them,” explains Alrasheed.
