HH Sheikha Mahra Bint Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum has taken to Instagram to announce her latest venture, a perfume brand named Mahra M1.

The first launch of HH Sheikha Mahra‘s new perfume line? A scent titled Divorced. The royal, who is the daughter of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, first hinted at the brand via a teaser on Instagram. The first look featured visuals of breaking glass, black roses, and a black panther, followed by a glimpse of the perfume and the brand’s name and logo.

Since then, the royal has shared a series of campaign pictures with the fragrance, in which she wore a white pantsuit and a silver mirror work dress, and debuted a bold new look that sees her golden brown locks transformed into sleek black tresses. The fragrance is housed in a matte black rectangular flacon with the brand’s logo and the scent’s name written in white on one side. The brand is yet to reveal the perfume’s notes and information about orders, however, they can be expected to be shared via the official Instagram account for Mahra M1.

The announcement of the perfume brand by Sheikha Mahra comes after a few updates in the royal’s personal life. After getting married to Sheikh Mana Al Maktoum in 2023, she welcomed her first child, a baby girl named Mahra in May 2024. In July, Sheika Mahra publicly announced her divorce, and later went on to thank her father, HH Sheikh Mohammed in a post. “Dear Father, thank you for your support. Thank you for your love. Thank you for marking an era that justifies that there is justice for everyone,” she wrote. “My respect and love, Mahra.”
