HH Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammad bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai is an avid foodie when it comes to the city’s restaurants. This week, the royal added two spots to his growing list of favorites as he was spotted dining with friends and family.

Sheikh Hamdan was first seen at Clay, the restaurant at Bluewaters Island that blends Japanese and Peruvian flavors. The restaurant shared a photo of the royal on its Instagram, stating, “We are honored and privileged to have HH Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum visit us. We hope and look forward to having him back another day.”

Later, the father of two took a trip to La Maison Ani at Fashion Avenue in The Dubai Mall on May 30. The restaurant is a homegrown lifestyle concept that is influenced and inspired by chef Izu Ani’s passion for travel and is reminiscent of the culture and cuisine that molded his creativity. The restaurant too posted a picture of the Crown Prince on Instagram, and captioned it, “It was a complete honor and privilege to host The Crown Prince @faz3 at La Maison Ani by chef Izu. The first of many visits we hope.” Chef Izu also expressed his heartfelt gratitude and appreciation to Sheikh Hamdan for joining and being supportive of the restaurant.
