Hi everyone,

Hailey Bieber just went through a terrifying medical event.

On Saturday, March 12, the model shared on Instagram Stories that she was recently hospitalized for a blood clot in her brain that caused “stroke-like symptoms,” but is now recovering at home. “On Thursday morning I was sitting at breakfast with my husband when I started having stroke-like symptoms and was taken to the hospital,” she wrote. “They found I had suffered a very small brain clot to my brain, which caused a small lack of oxygen but my body had passed it on its own and I recovered completely within a few hours.”

Hailey then thanked her doctors and nurses charged with her care as well as her loved ones for their unwavering support. “Although this was definitely one of the scariest moments I’ve ever been through, I’m home now and doing well and I’m so grateful and thankful to all the amazing doctors and nurses that took care of me! Thank you to everyone who has reached out with well wishes and concern and for the support and love.”

In late February, Hailey’s husband, Justin Bieber, was forced to postpone two concert dates after testing positive for COVID-19. “Due to positive COVID results within the Justice Tour family, we will, unfortunately, have to postpone Sunday’s show in Las Vegas,” a rep for Justin’s team wrote in a statement. “Justin is of course hugely disappointed, but the health and safety of his crew and fans is always his number one priority. The tour launch in San Diego was a massive success, and Justin is excited to bring this spectacular show to his Las Vegas fans as soon as possible.”

Just two days before her medical emergency, Hailey attended Justin’s concert in Los Angeles on March 8. She shared a series of outfit pics and videos the next day.

Justin and Hailey Bieber have been married since 2018. The model recently posted a tribute to her husband in honor of his 28th birthday. “Happy birthday my baby,” she wrote on March 1. “There are a lot of amazing and beautiful things about this life, but the most beautiful part is that I get to live it with you. I love you… Here’s to 28 🥳❤️.”
