Taylor Swift, Lady Gaga and more: Meet all the Grammy 2022 Nominees

Grammy nominations are finally here for the 2022 ceremony, which will celebrate some of the most noteworthy music from the past year.

It’s been a big year for new releases and the nominations mostly reflect that. For Album of The Year, as many had anticipated, the likes of Taylor Swift’s evermore, Doja Cat’s Planet HerOlivia Rodrigo’s sour, and Billie Eilish‘s Happier Than Ever all received a nomination. Record or Song of the Year nods went to Lil Nas X, Olivia Rodrigo, and Silk Sonic, among others. Olivia Rodrigo also scored a nod in the Best New Artist category with relative ease, alongside newcomers like The Kid LAROI, Saweetie, and more. With their mega-hit “Butter,” South Korean septet BTS earned their second Grammy nomination for Best Pop Duo/Group Performance — indeed a cause of celebration, though we’d have liked to see the song get at least one nod in the Big Four categories.

This year’s Grammy nominees were announced live on Grammy.com and Twitter, with a Spaces conversation with special guests following right after. The actual ceremony is coming up fast: the 64th annual Grammy Awards will air on Monday, January 31, 2022, from L.A.’s Staples Center. You’ll be able to tune in on CBS and Paramount+ live and on-demand.

Check out the 2022 Grammy nominations below:
