Gigi Hadid has taken to Instagram to share an adorable moment with her two-month-old daughter. The Palestinian-American model’s first selfie with her daughter on social media showed the new mother burping her baby girl over her shoulder.

The photo sees Hadid looking relaxed in a tan turtleneck and blue sweatpants with her blonde hair parted down the middle and braided. Captioning the moment, Hadid jokingly wrote, “She burps sunshine,” over the photo. Similar to the previously shared pictures, where the 25-year-old model and her boyfriend Zayn Malik have kept their baby’s face hidden or covered with gifs, this photo too didn’t show the newborn’s face. This is part of the couple’s decision to protect their daughter’s privacy on social media, as they have not revealed her name yet either.
The former Vogue Arabia cover star recently shared a handwritten note for her loved ones who have sent gifts for the newborn. It read: “I just want to put out there… while I have the time, that when I do thank-you’s on here, I think of the so many generous gifts we have received that haven’t gotten a public ‘thanks’. I am overwhelmed with how many beautiful things this little one has already been spoiled with by people I love – and I will slowly probably share them.”

Hadid and Malik welcomed their firstborn at the end of September. “Our baby girl is here, healthy and beautiful,” announced the British-Pakistani singer. “To try put into words how I am feeling right now would be an impossible task. The love I feel for this tiny human is beyond my understanding. Grateful to know her, proud to call her mine, and thankful for the life we will have together,” he added.
The family of three shared their first photo together on Instagram on the occasion of Halloween, where Hadid was dressed in a futuristic bodysuit, Malik was dressed up as a Harry Potter character from the house of Slytherin, and they had their daughter dress up as the Incredible Hulk by putting on a green crochet beanie on her head.
