Gigi Hadid, Bella Hadid, and Anwar Hadid took to their Instagram accounts to wish their mother Yolada Hadid a happy birthday on January 11 with adorable throwbacks. Showcasing their bond to their mother, the three extended their wishes with snapshots of Yolanda during her modeling days as well.
Bella Hadid has long expressed her love for her family with frequent posts about her father Mohamed Hadid’s heritage, and posts about the pride she feels towards her supermodel mom. The same has, of course, always been reciprocated to her from her parents, who who frequently share photographs of their children on Instagram. On Yolanda’s 58th birthday, Bella Hadid compiled a carousel with images of Yolanda as a model in the ’80s, along with a sweet candid shot of her with the kids, and another photo of Yolanda cuddling a baby Bella. She captioned the carousel with a simple message: “Happy Birthday Mama”.

As for the eldest Hadid child, Gigi Hadid took to her Instagram stories to share an image of herself as a toddler with her mother. Then came the youngest, Anwar Hadid, who extended his wishes to Yolanda by reposting Bella’s warm wishes on his Stories captioned with “Happy birthday mamma. Love you forever and always!”

Yolanda Hadid was born in the Netherlands where she grew up with her brother Leo. In 1979, she signed her first modeling contract with Ford models in Holland. Her modeling career exploded when the Dutch designer Frans Molenaar replaced one of his models with Yolanda when she was just 14 years old. She soon became a fashion week superstar during the 80s and 90s, during which she also appeared on the covers of high-profile fashion publications. She then moved to the US in 1994, where she started a family of three, raising two of the most influential models in the world.
