Looking back on her first pregnancy, Gigi Hadid has been sharing several throwback pictures on Instagram from just before she gave birth to her daughter, with Zayn Malik. To the joy of her fans, Hadid also gave a glimpse into her little girl‘s nursery as she posted a series of images on her Instagram stories.

The Palestinian-American model appears to have taken the images prior to the birth of her first child, dubbed “baby Zigi” by many fans. Hadid captioned the image with “the night before I went into labor,” as she posed in the mirror in the nursery with orange-colored walls.

The 25-year-old model then shared a photo taken “about a week before” she welcomed her daughter. The mirror selfie sees Hadid in a tie-dye T-shirt, posing with her baby bump. A distinctive set of patterned drawers can be seen in the baby’s nursery, bringing a rustic feel to the vibrantly colored room, which also features wicker-material birds stuck to the walls. “Decorating and spending time in her nursery really helped me feel prepared when I would get too in my head,” Hadid wrote on the image.

Three other images were shared by the model, including a look at baby Zigi’s rattan-style crib, and a bookshelf-covered wall featuring many children’s books.

Back in September, Hadid and Malik announced the birth of their daughter on social media. “Our girl joined us earth-side this weekend and she’s already changed our world,” Hadid wrote on Instagram. Since then, the model has shared several heartwarming photos with her daughter, as well as various throwback images from when she was pregnant.
Most recently, Hadid revealed that she had returned to work, three months after her daughter was born. “Would say back to work but being a mama is a job like no other,” she captioned a video she shared on Instagram stories.
