The GCC’s Biggest Digital Art Gallery is Coming to Dubai Soon

Imagine a vast, immersive digital art gallery spread over 2700 sq meters and showcasing iconic works by classic and contemporary masters like Van Gogh, Chagall, Dalí and Monet, in The Dubai Mall.

The brand new art gallery, named Infinity des Lumières, is all set to launch in a few months. The gallery will be exhibiting works using 130 projectors, 58 speakers and 3,000 HD digital moving images, in an impressive all-encompassing digital set up — like never seen before. In the spirit of democratising art, the ground breaking concept-gallery aims to introduce a technology driven art and cultural platform, open to all visitors. The creators say Infinity des Lumières will feature the largest digital facade within The Dubai Mall with a whopping display area of 200 square metres of projected art — surely a sight to behold. Visitors are in for a treat with an immersive multi-sensory journey comprising of light, sound, movement and color, all coming together for a 360 degree experience.

The inaugural exhibition will pay homage to renowned Dutch artist Vincent Van Gogh and will also run a Japanese art and sound installation called Verse, in parallel. The Infinity des Lumières is an art project in collaboration with InfinityArt and Culturespaces Digital, known to have produced exhibitions since 2012 with renowned galleries at the Atelier des Lumières in Paris, as well as the Carrières de Lumières in Provence, the Bassins de Lumières in Bordeaux and the Bunker des Lumières in South Korea.

Infinity des Lumières will be directly accessible from The Dubai Mall and further announcements, including information on launch dates, ticket prices, and the 2021 exhibition program, will be revealed early this year.
