On September 23, 1994, the world saw the beginning of everlasting friendship between Joey, Phoebe, Rachel, Chandler, Ross, and Monica. In honor of its 25th anniversary, the Burj Khalifa and the Dubai Fountain will be paying a nostalgic ode to the sitcom.

The show that is loved by individuals of every age will be showcasing it’s priceless Central Perk Cafe set around the world for die-hard fans to witness. From Sunday, September 15, The Dubai Mall will display the backdrop, the iconic orange couch, the rug, and the coffee table. That’s not all, even the cutlery will be available for viewing at the Waterfall Atrium. The time has finally come to take a picture on the set of your favorite show – and it doesn’t require a flight to Warner Bros. Studio.

After taking pictures at the Central Perk set, fans can head to the Dubai Fountain, where they can find a Friends LED show on the Burj Khalifa synced with the theme song I’ll Be There For You by The Rembrandts. The two shows will take place at 8.30pm and again at 9.30pm.

Other countries such as the United States, Spain, and the United Kingdom will be joined by Dubai to mark this special occasion and take us back to the ’90s.

The Friends 25th Couch Tour will also be available at the Empire State Building, New York on September 21 and 22; The London Eye, London, the UK on September 22; the Royal Palace, Madrid, Spain from October 1 to November 30; and Loft Ginza, Tokyo, Japan from September 18 to 24.

The iconic set is also expected to make an appearance in India (Mumbai, Delhi, and Bengaluru), Colombia (Bogota), Argentina (Buenos Aires), Australia (Sydney and Melbourne), New Zealand, Malaysia, Philippines and more.
