Trends come and trends go. This one, we hope is here to stay or at least until the world gets back to some sense of normality. Started by Chris Martin of Coldplay the #TogetherAtHome movement sees artists from across the globe logon to their Instagram pages and perform live concerts from the comfort of their homes. Started in association with Global Citizen, a drive that aims to end extreme poverty by 2030 and the World Health Organization (WHO) who have been at the forefront of the battle against coronavirus, the aim is to bring awareness and funds.
So far John Legend and his wife Chrissy Teigen have joined the drive alongside Charlie Puth, former One Direction bandmate Niall Horan and Camilla Cabello and Shawn Mendes to name a few. The impromptu performances are all super lighthearted with the stars taking song requests and chatting to fans. The wardrobes for some, have also been worth a peruse, with the Legend household donning robes and a bath towel and Horan wearing some trousers he himself noted were reminiscent of the Australian children show Bananas in Pyjamas.
Whether you opt to get in full concert mode by dimming the lights and grabbing some popcorn or simply to choose to use them for a little background ambiance, they are well worth the click. Ranging from 25 minutes to an hour, you can check out which artists are joining #TogetherAtHome by following @glblctzn. Now, scroll below to catch up on the concerts you may have missed.
