Nicholas Hoult (he of Mad Max: Fury Road) is set to play the orphaned writer who gave us the Lord of the Rings trilogy and The Hobbit. The biopic of the young J.R.R Tolkein is set to delve into the author’s formative years, through boyhood and during his years of service in World War I. Lily Collins co-stars alongside Hoult, as the writer’s future wife Edith Bratt.

“Stardust”
Stardust is an upcoming film about the late rock legend David Bowie, who will be portrayed by Johnny Flynn. The biographical movie will follow the singer’s first trip to America in the early 1970s, and the creation of his Ziggy Stardust persona. Marc Maron is joining the cast as Bowie’s publicist while Jena Malone plays the icon’s first wife, Angie. Much like the critically-acclaimed Queen biopic, the soundtrack for the upcoming film will include a number of Bowie’s performances.
