It all started when 2010’s Ramadan TV-show lineup introduced Ayza Atgawez, an Egyptian comedy that echoed the struggles of women in the Arab world who are on the lookout for a husband. With Tunisian-Egyptian actor Hend Sabri playing the protagonist, the show echoed many of the realities of society today. This year, the show will be back on Netflix as Finding Ola, and the teaser just dropped on Wednesday.

The 2010 version of the show revolved around Ola (played by Sabri), a middle class pharmacist who pursues extreme measures to make sure she gets married before the age of 30. The show kept the audience on their toes, waiting with bated breath to find out why each of Ola’s prospective partners got crossed off her list—until Ola finally said ‘I do’ in a wedding ceremony that sadly ended with a mass shooting.

This year, Ola will return as the show’s executive producer, and an on-screen divorcee, whose life has been turned upside down with the responsibilities that come with being a mother, daughter and busy pharmacist who is still very much in the search of true love. “Let’s start over with Ola in  ‘Finding Ola,’ exclusively on Netflix on February 3rd,” the actor shared on Instagram.

Sabri’s re-share of the teaser caught the eye of several Arab celebrities including the Tunisian star Dhafer L’abidine, Huda Al Mufti, Ghada Adel, Nashwa Moustafa and Lebanese TV presenter Raya Abirached, all of whom made sure to congratulated her on social media.

Finding Ola introduces brings together many interesting names, including Sawsan Badr, Hany Adel, Nada Moussa, Mahmoud Ellisy, Latifa Fahmy, and others who are lined up to appear as guests on the show. The Netflix series is expected to challenge social taboos, and represent women in their 40s who are juggling several hats at once. Netflix is preparing the show in 32 languages, with four dubbed versions, with the aim of reaching a wide audience across the globe.
