The MoU follows the decision to have a dedicated women’s pavilion in partnership with Cartier at the event. It makes Expo 2020 Dubai the first world expo since the 1900s to have a pavilion that is exclusively dedicated to disseminating information on the causes of gender equality as well as women empowerment. The pavilion also aims to share and celebrate the vast achievements and contributions of women throughout history.
