Etihad Airways, the national airline of the UAE, has just announced a brand new travel experience for its passengers, and it’s one you need to take note of if you enjoy flying in style.
The airline, which is constantly on the search for novel innovations, has officially come together with Italian designer Giorgio Armani to create a new range of in-flight tableware and textiles that promise to give travelers the ultimate luxe experience while on the go. The collaborative collection with Armani/Casa has been named ‘The Constellation Collection’, and takes inspiration from the stars. Take a closer look at it below.

The range features ceramics, glassware, cutlery and serving ware, along with plush bed linens, all of which also serve as a love letter to the UAE. How? Take a closer look: While the multiple textures used in the Etihad x Armani/Casa dinnerware represent the cultural diversity in the United Arab Emirates, the soothing color palette of the pieces honor the surroundings of Abu Dhabi, the home of Etihad Airways. Notes of deep green serve as a nod to the UAE’s trademark date palm trees, while cool shades of aquamarine pay homage to the mangroves, and slate gray looks to the concrete jungle that resides in the heart of Abu Dhabi, reflective of its impressively futuristic skyline. As for the textiles, Etihad’s Business Class family can enjoy a new look via Armani/Casa’s signature design pillow and duvet sets, and a new set of memory foam mattresses that make on-flight naps twice as comfortable. The soundest sleep one can get in the sky? You bet.
