Adding to the many reasons why Emirates is one of the most preferred airlines in the world is its unparalleled onboard wellness experience. Having returned better than ever post-Covid-19, Emirates has introduced a number of elements to its flights that aim to make every passenger’s journey just as remarkable as the destination.
Comfort is key for the First and Business Class experience which offers a range of luxury products including products from collaborations with Byredo skincare, Bowers & Wilkins, and Bulgari. For passengers looking to get their beauty fix up in the skies, the Emirates Wellness Kit comes with Byredo’s cleansing face towelette, facial toner, eye cream, chamomile roll-on sleep oil, and a chamomile pillow mist. Active Noise Cancelling E1 headphones by Bowers & Wilkins amplify inflight entertainment with unique technology optimized for the Emirates First Class cabins, while the Bulgari Amenity Kit delivers more essentials in style. Made from faux leather in eight designs and a range of colors for both men and women, the multipurpose First Class kits feature Bulgari’s fragrance, Eau Parfumée Au Thé Vert (Green Tea), and other skincare favorites. What’s more, First Class passengers on long-haul overnight flights are also given the Hydra Active moisturizing sleepsuits to make sure they are well rested.
With a special focus on health, Emirates recently launched the Vitality Boost beverage for the First and Business Classes. The welcome drink has been created by the airline’s chefs and nutritionists using a refreshing blend of apple, ginger, and hibiscus, making it vegan, nutrient-rich packed with antioxidants, and free from gluten and added sugar. The plush service continues with the A380 Onboard Lounge and Shower Spa where travelers can unwind at 40,000 feet. Luxury products on-hand include pamper essentials from award-winning, organic and sustainable Irish brand Voya, a disposable bath towel, and a menu to choose additional amenities from.
When it comes to onboard dining, Emirates is taking great care to ensure catering to every need and diet. First Class passengers can choose from a selection of fine cuisine prepared by gourmet chefs, accompanied by some of the most exclusive grape and bubbly beverages in the world. Those on a vegan diet can look forward to specially crafted vegan meals and desserts from Emirates’ repertoire of more than 170 dishes designed by a team of award-winning chefs and nutritionists who keep to its tradition of serving regionally inspired cuisine. Some of the vegan meals served include grilled vegetable crêpes with spinach and tomato concassé, Mediterranean vegetable ravioli, and tagine vegetables with couscous; and for dessert, caramel baked rice served with coconut cream and pineapple with pomelo and ginger syrup. Emirates’ recently launched vertical farm Bustanica, which is also the world’s largest hydroponic farm, will also enable travelers to high-quality leafy greens such as lettuces, arugula, mixed salad greens, and spinach, onboard their flights.
