The first look at Part 2 of Emily in Paris’s Season 4 has just dropped—here’s everything you can expect from the next episodes.
Part 2 of Emily in Paris‘s Season 4 is eagerly awaited by those who binge-watched Part 1 in a few hours, as well as those who want to see it all at once. This weekend, Netflix revealed the first look at the second half of the season, and it offers plenty of details about the upcoming episodes. What immediately stands out is the scenic background of the pictures, which contrary to the series’ name, is not Paris. While the popular show filmed three of its seasons in the City of Lights, it appears to be taking a trip to the Eternal City for what can only be eventful last episodes.
Featuring Roman architecture, Vespas, the Trevi Fountain, and more, the sneak peek shows the characters living ‘La Dolce Vita’. The fashion, too, takes a fitting turn, as Emily (Lily Collins) is spotted in looks straight out of Audrey Hepburn’s Charade and Roman Holiday. Highlights include a black midi skirt with a button-up and a patterned jacket with a neck kerchief; a printed dress with a ruffled underlayer, and a blue polka-dotted top with navy shorts and a red butterfly backpack. The second half of the season is also introducing a new character—an Italian mystery man named Marcello (Eugenio Franceschini).
Part 1 of Emily in Paris ended after Emily and chef Gabriel (Lucas Bravo) confess their feelings to each other, and Camille (Camille Razat) discovers the truth about her pregnancy. Whether the last episodes will tie the story up in a neat knot, or leave some loose ends is up to the possibility of a Season 5. “I definitely think the show has a life beyond next season,” creator Darren Star told Deadline. “It’s not necessarily conceived as a final chapter. I think like every other show, it’s a rich ensemble. There’s no end in sight until everybody feels like it’s time to end.” He added, “And I don’t think this show is limited by a number of seasons, I think it’s limited by everybody’s enthusiasm and excitement about doing it and telling stories about these characters.”
