HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Hosts Iftar Reception in Dubai with Newly Married Sons

Two weeks into the Holy Month of Ramadan, the royals of UAE gathered for iftar, which is the meal served at sunset to break the fast. At Zabeel Palace in Dubai, HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid, Vice President and Ruler of Dubai, invited HH Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces for a special iftar reception.

The Zabeel Palace which is the Dubai residence and administrative headquarters of the ruling royal family of Dubai became the venue for the country’s top dignitaries to exchange their best wishes and greetings for the Holy Month. The recently married HH Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed, Crown Prince of Dubai, Sheikh Maktoum bin Mohammed, Deputy Ruler of Dubai, and Sheikh Ahmed bin Mohammed, chairman of the Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Knowledge Foundation, were also in attendance and offered prayers along with a number of UAE ministers, dignitaries, and senior officials.

According to a report by the state news agency Wam, after the prayers, Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid, Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed, and those attending prayed to Allah the Almighty to preserve the homeland and wished health and happiness to President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan.

Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid, and Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed have also hosted an iftar banquet earlier this month at Abu Dhabi’s Qasr Al Watan where the country’s Rulers and Crown Princes’ of each emirate met the UAE President, HH Sheikh Khalifa.
