Dubai’s ever-popular hotspot Coya now has a whole new must-try venue—Chanca by Coya, a thriving luxury lounge and club that sits right beside the much-loved restaurant. Just like Coya, Chanca boasts a sprawling menu brimming with Peruvian bites—think sweet potato croquetas, yellowfin tuna tacos, and wagyu maki rolls—and is slowly but steadily becoming a favorite in Jumeirah for its moody interiors. The space’s earthy decor is elevated by low cherry red seating, marble tables, and geometric wall detailing. Grab a cozy corner by the windows for a dreamy view of the city by night, or sit right in front of the DJ under a spectrum of lights that glimmer with the beat of every tune. This one’s the ideal spot to reserve for the weekend—you won’t want to leave in a hurry.

Bull & Bear

For all steak fans in Dubai, this season, Waldorf Astoria DIFC is the place to be. The regal hotel’s multi-award-winning restaurant Bull & Bear is now treating its guests to a unique New York theater-inspired brunch, named ‘Best of Broadway’. What can you expect every Saturday between 1pm and 5pm? The many attractions of the ‘Best of Broadway’ brunch include unlimited appetizers including tuna niçoise and spiced prawn buns, melt-in-the-mouth mains—think beef Rossini and striploin Wagyu—and desserts, all accompanied by an array of must-try drinks. What elevates the whole experience, however, is the restaurant’s theatrical spin. Make sure to get your photo taken at Bull & Bear’s photo booth, complete with glitzy props that take you back to New York’s glitziest era, and enjoy some of Broadway’s most iconic tunes as you dig into each course. Bonus: If you win Bull & Bear’s raffle prize, you may just be able to come back for an extra special meal.

Quite possibly one of the most exciting spots in Palm West Beach right now, Sān Beach happens to have something for everyone. The seaside restaurant—an ideal location for a romantic date—stands out for its soothing, Greek-inspired aesthetic, and has also become a wellness hub for those who like to kickstart their days with a power-packed workout. Now, Sān Beach is gearing up for the festive months with Ceremony, an all-new experience that blends incredible South-African and Greek flavors with healing music of Nomades, the Band. Taking place at golden hour every Saturday, Ceremony treats guests to the ultimate holiday experience, and runs into the night with a globally renowned DJ to take your dinner to the next level. Dress code: Your boho best.

Avli by Tashas

Dipped in calming shades of ivory, Avli by Tashas is as charming for its calm, Mediterranean-inspired interiors as it is for its interesting play on Greek flavors. Replete with vegan favorites, slow-cooked meats and seafood, the restaurant’s menu also includes a wide selection of delicious drinks, each blending unexpected flavors together to create a unique concoction. Among the best appetisers on offer are the tangy lobster bisque, tuna tartare and watermelon + feta salad, and for mains, Avli by Tasha’s Papoutsakia—roasted aubergine loaded with spiced beef mince, tahini yoghurt, pomegranate, sourdough crumb and pine nuts—is an absolute star. Finish with a cooling vanilla and cherry panna cotta, or if you fancy citrus flavors, a scrumptious serving of orange mille-feuille.

A neighborhood eatery in the heart of Jumeirah, Monno puts its own spin on soulful Italian cuisine. Launching mid-year, the charming bistro has quickly won its reputation for authentic Italian food and knowledgeable service. With head chef Federcio Bartoli at the helm, the menu pays tribute to Italian’s most famous dishes as well as offering more experimental dishes. The restaurant’s wood-fired pizza oven oversees proceedings in the kitchen. Classic Italian favorites include slow-cooked octopus, carbonara di tonno, veal Milanese, tiramisu, and Dubai’s perennial pick, burrata. Showcasing seasonal flavors, chef Bartoli has also recently introduced a selection of sustainability influenced recipes like a venison tartare with truffle snow and a milk and honey parfait. His Arctic Circle features cured arctic char served as a carpaccio with smoked butter – an alternative to the over fished salmon. A focus on creative mocktails means that a classic aperitif can be enjoyed by everyone, with the chic space offering both indoors or terrace seating for stylish family dining.

Located in the heart of DIFC, Hutong has long been a fail-safe hub for all who enjoy Chinese cuisine. For the end of the year, the restaurant has now introduced a special Dark Brunch, available from 9pm to 12am. The all-new menu comes loaded with scrumptious tasters—from crispy bean eggplant and scallops in green sichuan pepper sauce, to an array of dim sum and dumplings—and features hearty mains like kung po chicken and beef rolls with enoki mushroom. The evening, which sees the venue transform into a party zone with vibrant music and surprise live performances, comes to a close with an Instagram-worthy dessert platter, making sure that every meal ends on a high note.

The ideal seaside spot for a date night or a family dinner, L’Amo Bistro del Mare aims to bring the warmth and charm of Italian restaurants to Dubai. Its menu pays homage to the Southern Italian coasts with exceptional dishes in which seafood is the hero, such as the Mediterranean-style tagliolino with mussels, clams, and razor clams, and fresh picks from the pescheria counter. The restaurant also prides itself on its suave and modern interiors with soothing neutral tones and terrazzo-style tiles nodding to Southern Italian homes. Coupled with floor-to-ceiling windows, an outdoor terrace, and mesmerizing views of Bluewaters Island, the Dubai Marina skyline, and yachts docked at the Cruise terminal, the restaurant can’t be missed.
