This is What the Dubai Palace Looks Like Ahead of Sheikh Hamdan’s Wedding Reception

In anticipation of the UAE Royal wedding, images of the Dubai Palace decked out in lights have been making the rounds online. Earlier in May, the sons of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai were married in a private religious ceremony.

The brothers were wed in a private Islamic wedding ceremony where they signed an official marriage contract. The wedding reception will take place in all its grandeur on June 6 at the World Trade Centre and in its celebration, the Dubai royal palace has been adorned with innumerable golden lights. UAE residents were quick to share the photos on social media in excitement for the Al Maktoum wedding reception which now is only a few days away. The reception will take place in the traditional Emirati way will see the guests entertained with the Al Ayala ‘stick dance’.

On May 15, Sheikh Hamdan Bin Mohammad, Crown Prince of Dubai and Chairman of the Dubai Executive Council, married Sheikha Sheikha Bint Saeed Bin Thani Al Maktoum. On the same day his brothers, Sheikh Maktoum Bin Mohammad, Deputy Ruler of Dubai, married Sheikha Maryam Bint Butti Al Maktoum, and Sheikh Ahmad Bin Mohammad, Chairman of the Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Knowledge Foundation, married Sheikha Midya Bint Dalmouj Al Maktoum.
