Dubai Design Week is set to celebrate its 10th edition from November 5-10, under the leadership of Her Highness Sheikha Latifa bint Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Chairperson of Dubai Culture.
This year’s festival will include an outstanding program of exhibitions, new commissions, and events. Held in partnership with Dubai Design District, it remains the region’s first globally recognized design festival, supported by Dubai Culture.
Since its launch in 2015, Dubai Design Week has grown into a major international event. Its success is fueled by the UAE’s fast-paced urbanization, a thriving real estate market, and a strong commitment to nurturing local talent. Dubai’s rise as a global design hub has been powered by a dynamic creative economy that values diversity, sustainability, and innovation.
“Design plays a key role in advancing innovation and shaping new possibilities locally, regionally, and globally, and is a key pillar of our strategic roadmap,” says Dr. Saeed Mubarak bin Kharbash, CEO of the Arts and Literature Sector at Dubai Culture. “With the emirate being a UNESCO City of Design, Dubai Culture is dedicated to providing an educational ecosystem that cultivates fresh ideas and the many individuals driving them forward.”
The 2024 edition will look back on a decade of design influence across the UAE and GCC, whose interior design and furniture market is now collectively valued at USD 26 billion. The festival will showcase more than 500 designers and businesses from more than 40 countries, paying tribute to regional talent and design legacy.

Among the highlights of this year’s program is Downtown Design, the festival’s core event, which will take place from November 6-9 on the d3 Waterfront Terrace. This prominent fair will feature the latest in interior design, furniture, lighting, and home accessories. In addition to exhibitions, visitors can engage in creative pop-ups, installations, networking events, and a series of talks, keynotes, and workshops at The Forum.
Khadija Al Bastaki, Senior Vice President of d3, highlighted the festival’s role in promoting both local and global design talent. According to her, Dubai Design Week has been integral in weaving a multicultural design narrative and shaping the future of Dubai’s creative economy. “We look forward to welcoming design stakeholders to celebrate the brilliant creations and ingenuity evident across this year’s program, including the debut of ‘Editions’ in strategic partnership with d3, shaping the future and resilience of Dubai’s creative economy,” says Al Bastaki.
