On November 30, Dubai became home to a glamourous charitable spirit as supermodel Natalia Vodianova and her Naked Heart Foundation hosted a very special evening with a meaningful name: ‘The World Needs Love’. The Russian model, who is married to Antoine Arnault, is well known for her philanthropic endeavors. Who can forget the Love Ball that was once held at the Fondation Louis Vuitton in Paris and raised $4 million for her organization?

In Dubai, Vodianova’s efforts were supported by Barkha Shewakramani – the powerful woman entrepreneur who founded her own beverage house, and created Barkha Beauty, a brand that’s become a favorite among some of Hollywood’s most influential stars – and Sima Ganwani Ved, one of the most inspiring businesswomen in the Middle East. Held in Ganwani’s sprawling mansion, the evening was a visual feast, decked out in gorgeous red accent by Berin Iglesias Events. The opulent ambiance was more than well-suited to the event’s star-studded guest list, which included names such as Karen Wazen, Mona Kattan, Jessica Kahawaty and Stella McCartney.

The Naked Heart Foundation is devoted to helping children and young adults with special educational needs, and mental and physical disabilities. By offering sustained carer training programs, knowledge exchange, and individual specialist support, the foundation hopes to create a better world for those in need.
