This year is shaping up to be an impressive spread of successful events, collections, and collaborations for Chopard. The calm has only just returned to the coastline of the French Riviera after Chopard’s official sponsorship of the Cannes Film Festival and the news reels have just relaxed a little since Rihanna X Chopard was unveiled – and now the brand is hosting another event on the fashion calendar. This time, the fine jewelry house looks to the Middle East.
Chopard celebrated the Holy Month of Ramadan with its partner Trafalgar and played host to a select gathering at the annual ghabga event held in Dar Hamad. The setting was distinctive and celebrated Arabic culture and Kuwaiti tradition. From the clay pots handcrafted for guests to admire to woodworked boxes whittled live, Chopard displayed its new collection of high jewelry and timepieces among a hive of activity.
The Geneva-based brand selected its Happy Dreams pieces, the Ice Cube and Imperiale collections, alongside the menswear range of L.U.C. GMT One, and Mille Miglia Chronograph timepieces nestled in glass cabinets among the sadu art displays.
