It’s no secret that women from the region are speaking up and stepping out of the boundaries to which society had previously limited them. This is especially prevalent in the realm of athletics, where Arab women are continuously paving record-breaking paths for future generations of women. This month, CH Carolina Herrera is celebrating these forces of change and collaborating with three trailblazing women from the GCC to share their inspiring stories with the rest of the world.
The first Emirati ballerina Alia Al Neyadi, the first Saudi woman to climb Mount Everest Raha Moharrak, and award-winning Kuwaiti equestrian Yara Alhunaidi join the luxury brand in a series of events throughout March in their home countries of the UAE, Saudi Arabia, and Kuwait to encourage other women from the gulf to follow each of their own passions and join them on this uplifting journey to empowerment.

“I’m here to show that you can follow your dreams no matter how unrealistic it seems,” revealed Neyadi in a video, explaining the impact she’s made on others by “pursuing something that seemed completely impossible.”
While Moharrak describes herself as an “adventurer with an insatiable appetite to see the world”—something easily understood with a quick glance through her Instagram full of footage from far-off destinations and cultural escapes—Alhunaidi’s adrenaline rush comes from elsewhere: Her horse. Although she keeps in mind the golden rule to treat others the way she wants to be treated, Alhunaidi is not afraid to “be bold and speak up”.
Meet this powerful trio in the video below and join them at the CH Carolina Herrera store on March 15 at Al Khayyat Center, Jeddah; March 18 at Mall of the Emirates, Dubai, and March 24 at 360 Mall, Kuwait City to hear more about their life-changing experiences.
