On Valentine’s Day, celebrities took to Instagram in a showy display of love for their significant others, family, and friends.
Kanye West made a return to the social media platform to profess his love for his wife and mother of three children Kim Kardashian West, by transforming his page into a minimalist Valentine’s Day moodboard. He peppered it with images of couple’s past and present— including Kate Moss and Johnny Depp, Cindy Crawford and Richard Grere, and David Beckham and Victoria Beckham— leading up to a final image of himself with his wife, simply captioned Kimye.
In another creative display of affection, was Michelle Obama who curated a sweet, Valentine’s Day playlist on Spotify called “Forever Mine.” Michelle posted the playlist to her Instagram feed, along with a photo of the former President and First Lady, captioned: “Happy #ValentinesDay to my one and only, @BarackObama. To celebrate the occasion, I’m dedicating a little Valentine’s Day playlist to you! Click the link in my bio to hear the playlist.” The 44-track set featured Bruno Mars, Beyoncé, Michael Jackson, and Mariah Carey.
Some celebrities took the time to wish a happy Valentine’s Day to their family, such as Bella Hadid who shared a sweet video on Instagram with her mother Yolanda Hadid captioned “forever my Valentine!” Meanwhile, Zac Posen shared archival footage of former Vogue Arabia cover star Rihanna, twirling in a red, sparkling ballgown. “My dream #Valentine – archive footage of a special moment with a special girl @badgalriri…” he wrote.
