Whether you’re a royal, award-winning singer, or an actor, no one is immune to this thing called love. August is National Romance Awareness Month, and with a little over two weeks left, we decided to round up the 10 loved-up duos that give us serious #RelationshipGoals.
HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum and HH Princess Haya bint Al Hussein
The Vice President and Prime Minister of the United Arab Emirates, and Ruler of the Emirate of Dubai married HRH Princess Haya married in 2004, and they are clearly very much still in love. The royal couple, who tied the knot in Amman’s Al Baraka Palace, are practically the definition of a power couple. Both keen equestrians, Princess Haya and His Highness have several things in common, such as their shared passion for human rights and philanthropy. The couple, who have two children together, a boy and a girl named Sheikh Zayed and Sheikha Jalila, also enjoy sweet family time and have occasionally been photographed spending some quality time together with their kids.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex Meghan Markle and Prince Harry
Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s love story is one for the ages. The couple first met on a blind date set up by Markle’s friend, before taking a trip to Botswana where their relationship really blossomed. “We were really by ourselves, which was crucial to me to make sure that we had a chance to get to know each other. We camped out with each other, under the stars. She came and joined me for five days out there, which was absolutely fantastic,” Prince Harry said in the couple’s first TV interview following the news of their engagement. The newly-christened Duke and Duchess of Sussex went on to tie the knot in a special royal ceremony surrounded by family and A-list friends in May. Today, the former Suits actor and the Prince are as happy as ever making official engagements, attending royal polo tournaments, and escaping to the English countryside together.
George and Amal Clooney
In case you needed a reason to believe that true love exists, look no further than George and Amal Clooney (née Alamuddin). The Lebanese human rights lawyer met, fell in love, got engaged, and married all in the course of one year and two months. “I thought she was beautiful, and I thought she was funny and obviously smart,” George told American Vogue of how they met. “I don’t know [what she thought of me]. She probably thought I was old. Then she sent some pictures from when she was here, and we were writing each other, emailing, talking, mostly about what was going on in each other’s lives, and over a period of time it became clear we were more than just friends.” The couple got married in a secret Venice wedding in 2014 (the bride wore Oscar de la Renta). After two and a half years of marriage, the couple welcomed twins, a boy and a girl, named Alexander and Ella.
Gigi Hadid and Zayn Malik
Gigi Hadid and Zayn Malik have been inseparable since they got back together, after announcing their split in March following two years together. And while the pair are yet to publicly confirm their on-off relationship, the duo have been spending a lot of time together recently‚ including visiting the part-Palestinian model’s mother’s house and vacationing in far-flung locales. Hadid has also been very vocal about her love for her on-again flame, occasionally taking to social media to share sweet snaps of the former One Directioner, often accompanied by heartfelt captions. Prior to their breakup in March, the couple would be seen sitting FROW at fashion shows together, attending red carpets arm-in-arm, and even securing joint magazine covers. The 23-year-old model even appeared in the singer’s music video for Pillowtalk.
Queen Rania and King Abdullah II
The rest of the world might still be starry-eyed over the new Duke and Duchess of Sussex following last month’s royal wedding, but when it comes to regal romances, we’ve long had a soft spot for HM Queen Rania and King Abdullah II. The Jordanian royals are this year celebrating their wedding anniversary, after tying the knot 25 years ago on June 10, 1993. The pair, who share four children, first met at a dinner party in 1992, before announcing their engagement six months later. “He had such a great smile and such infectious energy, we got on really well. And the rest, as they say, is history,” HM told Stellar magazine in 2016 of their first meeting. The then-Rania al-Yassin wed then-Prince of Jordan, Abdullah II bin Al-Hussein, at Zahran Palace in Amman. On their anniversary last year, Queen Rania revealed she “still feels like the luckiest woman in the world”.
David and Victoria Beckham
The Beckhams are basically fashion royalty as far as celebrity couples are concerned. Having been married for almost 20 years, David and Victoria Beckham have cemented themselves as a dynamic power duo. Mrs. Beckham is the founder of her own eponymous womenswear label, and has recently launched a namesake cosmetics collection in collaboration with Estée Lauder. Along with being one of the most recognized (former) footballers, David Beckham’s name extends past the soccer field (from which he retired). The athlete—who first paved his way as a trendsetter with unique hairstyles featuring braids and mohawks—boasts an impressive resume; one that includes magazine covers and lucrative endorsements. Together, the former Spice Girl and Manchester United player, who met at the club, have four kids, Romeo, Brooklyn, Harper, and Cruz. According to Victoria, David still has the London-to-Manchester plane ticket on which she first wrote her phone number on.
Amr Waked and Sarah Shahin

Mona Zaki And Ahmed Helmy
Mona Zaki and Ahmed Helmy never fail to remind us how adorable they are together. The Egyptian comedian married the actress in 2002, and they have been happily together ever since. They announced that they were renewing their wedding vows in 2016, because they were expecting their third child together (and partly because Zaki didn’t like how she looked in her 2002 wedding,) continuing their streak of adorable couple moments. This includes the time the actress bought her husband a dog named Mistika when they first fell in love, and how Helmy still calls his wife two times a day without fail.

However, the rapper revealed that he was smitten with Kim long before that. “I remember I saw a picture of her and Paris Hilton,” the musician told Ryan Seacrest in a radio interview, “and I remember telling my boy, ‘Have you seen that girl Kim Kar-dijon?’” They would go on to date officially in 2012, before West proposed to Kardashian on her 33rd birthday. The rapper rented out the entire AT&T Park to stage an elaborate proposal that included a Jumbotron, orchestra, and a 15k diamond ring. The rest is history.
