On the evening of December 15, Dubai’s Jumeirah Mina A’Salam lit up for a very special celebration: the third edition of the Ball of Arabia. Each year, the milestone moment focuses on a different theme, and this time around the ball centered around the ’80s. While guests attended in their boldest, brightest ensembles to honor the era, the ceremony itself spotlighted three divas of Arabia who forever changed the course of creativity in the region—Egyptian actor Nabila Ebeed, Tunisian songstress Latifa, and Lebanese pageant queen Georgina Rizk.

While the 2022 Ball of Arabia red carpet included some unforgettable moments (don’t miss host for the evening Jessica Kahawaty posing with mother Rita Kahawaty, and Rym Saidi and husband Wissam Breidy battling for the spotlight), the rest of the evening was no less playful. Inside the venue, Latifa shared a laugh with Jessica’s co-host for the evening Abla Fahita, Dorra Zarrouk shared the stage with Nabila Ebeed, and Georgina Rizk had the audience beaming with her heartfelt speech.
