Everything You Need to Know About the Backstreet Boys’ First Concert in the Kingdom

Backstreet Boys, the popular band from the 90s will soon make their way to Saudi Arabia for the first time ever. As part of their DNA world tour, the American boy band will make their debut in the country by performing at the Jeddah Season on June 27.

They will take the stage at the Prince Abdullah Al-Faisal Basketball Arena in King Abdullah Sports City where fans can expect to be entertained with the band’s catchy 90s songs as well as new tracks from their latest album, DNA featuring collaborations with the new generation of artists like Shawn Mendes.

Fans based in UAE have previously experienced a Backstreet Boys concert when the band performed at Dubai’s “Blended” festival in April 2018 for their 25th anniversary. Jeddah Season is allowing them a chance to see the band again by granting electronic visas within minutes of their concert purchase ticket, in a bid to drive tourism to the Kingdom by boosting its entertainment scene.

Members AJ McLean, Howie D., Nick Carter, Kevin Richardson, and Brian Littrell formed the band in Orlando, Florida in 1993 and delivered hits like I Want It That Way, Everybody (Backstreet’s Back), and, As Long As You Love Me.

Organized by the Kingdom’s General Entertainment Authority, Jeddah Season is a cultural festival which started on June 8 and will be held across different venues in Jeddah until July 18.
