Homeware and lifestyle brand Aura Living has unveiled its new collection for Ramadan 2023. Delicate cutting-edge textures, arabesque patterns, and modern calligraphy permeate the collection which has been available across all Aura Living stores in the UAE and Saudi Arabia.
The capsule aims to merge the traditional spirit of Ramadan with contemporary elements to bring versatile homeware guaranteed to elevate your space. This design philosophy can be seen across the three stunning dinnerware collections, intricate decorative accessories, as well as gifting items.
In a first for the brand, the Ramadan collection introduces a particularly unique design element. Intricate coin textures are incorporated into the Jenniah collection to present a range of dinnerware pieces that exude decadence. There is also the fact that the novel embossments featured in the collection are of a notable coin from the rule of King Abdul Aziz Al Saud, the founder and first ruler of Saudi Arabia.
The Ramadan collection also brings back the brand’s best-selling Calligraphy dinnerware line. Designed by Saudi-Moroccan artist Shaker Kashgari who is known for his contemporary take on Arabic calligraphy and Islamic art, the collection is bound to remain a favorite with customers. Descriptive black and white calligraphy in a graffiti-brushed style is accompanied by a striking gold tinge throughout the collection. Words such as Rizq (blessing), Karam (generosity), and Farah (happiness) embody the sentiments of Ramadan.
Ethnic prints merging with traditional Levant-inspired patterns bring a third elegant dinnerware collection to the Ramadan capsule. Bright, bold hues of magenta, cobalt, and white, make the Tapestry collection notable at once. With a selection of serving trays and platters amongst other pieces, the tastefully designed collection will surely add a taste of contemporary middle eastern aesthetic to any iftar party in Ramadan.
Mirroring the true spirit of the holy month, the capsule collection also offers a number of thoughtful gift items that reflect the generosity and art of giving that are characteristic of Ramadan. Customers can choose from exquisite items such as the Erin set of three small bowls housed within an acrylic box or the wicker effect tray with the Arabic word ‘Farah’ intricately tailored to its fabric cover. No matter what item is chosen, Aura Living is determined to uplift Ramadan evenings and make them a little more magical.
