Multiple outlets have reported the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s son, Archie Mountbatten-Windsor, has wisps of reddish hair—which may mean he’s inherited the signature feature of his father, Prince Harry.
As we all know, looks change rapidly during infancy, and Archie is no exception. (“His looks are changing every single day, so who knows?” Prince Harry said during their first public appearance as a family.) But—but! It seems there’s a chance that Harry’s informal nickname, The Ginger Prince, could be passed down to the next generation.
What else did the press have to say about the little royal? A source told People that he’s “a happy baby” who is “really adorable.” Also, according to another insider, he’s “super chubby“ and “captures the heart of everyone that meets him.”
This all follows what the Duchess of Sussex told cameras back in May: “He has the sweetest temperament. He’s really calm. He’s been the dream,” she said.
The by-all-accounts affable Archie Mountbatten-Windsor has had a busy summer. First, there was his July 6 christening at Windsor Castle, where he posed for several portraits in the family’s historic Honiton christening gown. Then, later in the month, an appearance to watch his father play at the King Power Royal Charity Polo Day. There, he hung out with his cousins Prince Louis, Prince George, and Princess Charlotte.
The Sussex family is also expected to decamp to the Queen’s Scottish estate of Balmoral. It will be their first time visiting the 50,000-acre estate as a family of three—a royal milestone indeed.
