To celebrate the opening of Aquazzura’s first-ever boutique in the UAE, founder and creative director Edgardo Osorio, Ricardo D’Almeida Figueiredo, Ingie Chalhoub, and her husband Patrick Chalhoub hosted a lavish dinner party in Dubai’s Park Hyatt on Tuesday. The glamorous event, which unfolded in the venue’s picturesque outdoor garden, was attended by well-heeled guests Chiara Amodeo, Rania Fawaz, and Zeynab El Helw.
The interior of the boutique, which is housed in the Dubai Mall’s newly-opened Fashion Avenue extension, is inspired by traditional Islamic architecture in a contemporary way. This is apparent in the geometric patterns on the floor and the striped floor-to-ceiling windows in the form of arches. The Italian accessories label’s signature stripes also served as inspiration for Tuesday night’s dinner, appearing on the table cloths, tiles, and napkins.
