Alicia Keys has been announced as the third headliner for the 17th edition of the Emirates Airline Dubai Jazz Festival on February 22. The multi-award-winning artist will be joining the festival’s other acts on the bill; Northern Irish rock band Snow Patrol, who are set to take the stage at the Dubai Media City Amphitheatre on February 20, and Jamiroquai, the British funk band who are performing on February 21.

It will be Keys’s first performance in the UAE since her “Set the World on Fire Tour” in 2013. Meanwhile, the upcoming festival will mark the 37-year-old singer’s fourth act in the Emirates overall.

Since its launch in 2003, the Dubai Jazz Festival has proved consistent in bringing in the music industry’s brightest stars to the UAE. Previous headliners include the likes of Mariah Carey, John Legend, Duran Duran, and Ricky Martin.

The UAE is shaping up as the place to be for music aficionados and concert-goers. The Jazz Festival will arrive just weeks after Sole DXB, Dubai’s premiere streetwear and urban festival, which will see the likes of Nas, Giggs, and Lion Babe, Blood Orange, and more take to the stage. Meanwhile, November’s Abu Dhabi Grand Prix Yasalam After-Race Concerts comprised a stellar line-up of headliners, including Guns N’ Roses, The Weeknd, and Sam Smith.

Those who are keen to watch the 15-time Grammy winner belt out some of her biggest hits like Fallin’, A Woman’s Worth, and Girl on Fire live can purchase tickets at AED350 a pop at Virgin Megastores and on the Dubai Jazz Festival website.
