Alicia Keys Will Return to Saudi Arabia for Her Second Concert in AlUla

Alicia Keys, the Grammy award-winning artist known for her powerful vocals is returning to Saudi Arabia for a second show. Just like last year, she will be performing at Maraya, the world’s largest mirrored building an award-winning venue. The concert on Thursday, February 24 is part of the AlUla Arts Festival which runs from February 16-28. Fans can expect an intimate affair with the singer performing some of her biggest hits, including “Fallin'”, “Empire State of Mind”, “Girl on Fire”, and one of her latest songs “Underdog” among others.

This will likely be another sold-out show as fans and music aficionados alike rush to buy tickets as soon as they go on sale. Keys is known for her unmatched energy in performance and is bound to light the AlUla stage on fire. The artist is not only an extremely talented singer-songwriter but is also known for her piano skills which she has been honing since the age of seven. The next day, Keys who is known for her activism will also be hosting Women on Women, a dialogue in which she participated last year as well. Good Intentions, the creative consultancy behind Women on Women, described the event as a town hall hoping to highlight and amplify inspiring women across the region through discussion on power, purpose, and progression.

Last year the Women on Women event included an exclusive dialogue between Alicia Keys and HRH Princess Reema bint Bandar Al Said, the first female Saudi ambassador to the US. Visitors to the AlUla Arts Festival will also be excited to visit Saudi Arabia’s first Andy Warhol exhibition set to launch at Maraya during the festival. AlUla continues to be a celebration of all aspects of art with the festival highlighting everything from curated contemporary art to artistic performances, large-scale installations, community murals, and much more.
