Who is Bella Hadid’s partner? Keep scrolling for everything we know about mystery man Adan Banuelos.
Wondering about Bella Hadid’s partner? You’re far from alone—over the past few months, the supermodel has been dropping subtle hints about her new beau on her Instagram. There’s a cropped photo of her holding hands with a man at the rodeo, and another of her in an embrace while he looks away from the camera. Then there are all these carousels of Hadid on ranches in Texas: a far cry from her normal haunts of New York City or Los Angeles.
Tabloids, including TMZ, quickly surmised that the man in question was rodeo star Adan Banuelos. But Hadid herself remained tight-lipped until Valentine’s Day, when she posted a picture of Banuelos on her Instagram story with the caption “My Valentine.” Then, on March 8, she attended the 2024 American Performance Horseman in Arlington, Texas. There, she loudly cheered in the crowd for Banuelos, and later, the two hugged in front of the cameras.
So who exactly is Bella Hadid’s partner? Banuelos—the man now link to one of the most in-demand models in history? Below, find everything you need to know.
He’s a cutting horse champion
34-year-old Banuelos is a remarkably successful rodeo star and equestrian. His talent? Cutting horses—or, the rodeo competition where a horse and rider must separate one cow from a herd of cattle. In 2017, he was inducted into the National Cutting Horse Hall of Fame and has made over six million dollars in winnings. Surely that gives him plenty to talk about with Hadid, who is also an equestrian with a deep love of horses.
He comes from a long line of horsemen
Just like the Hadids, talent runs in the Banuelos family: his father, Ascencion Banuelos, was the first Mexican-American inducted into the National Cutting Horse Association Hall of Fame.
He lives in Fort Worth, Texas
Banuelos resides in the Fort Worth area, with his horse training facility, Adan Performances Horses, located in nearby Weatherford. Back in October, TMZ captured the two walking around the Fort Worth Stockyards—a historic neighborhood complete with Western outfitters, a Luchesse store, and famous honky-tonk bars.
He trains cutting horses and riders—including Hadid herself
Not only does Banuelos ride horses, but he also trains them and their riders. It seems he’s even taught Bella Hadid: Back in January, Hadid posted an Instagram video of her participating in a cutting horse event on a stallion named Tito. “Never stop trying new things. I feel lucky enough to have the opportunity to keep learning in life,” she wrote.
He’s a relatively private person
Although a famous athlete, Banuelos does not have a Wikipedia page. He also does not post personal photos to his Instagram, which is solely dedicated to content from his competitions.
