Congratulations! After months of speculation, we have confirmation that model, actor, and musician Suki Waterhouse, 31, is expecting her first child with longtime boyfriend Robert Pattinson, 37. This kid is going to be very cool.
Waterhouse revealed the news while onstage at the Corona Capital Festival in Mexico on Sunday, November 19. In a video captured by a fan in the crowd, Waterhouse can be seen wearing a skintight, sparkly dress (that poorly disguises her bump) beneath a fluffy feathered coat. “I thought I’d wear something sparkly to distract you from something else I’ve got going on,” she joked, according to the video shared on X. “I’m not sure it’s working.”

Aside from the onstage comment, neither Waterhouse nor Pattinson have publicly addressed the pregnancy.
The British pair have been linked since July of 2018, but have mostly kept their romance under wraps. Pattinson does not use social media, and Waterhouse’s Instagram presence is Rob-free. However, they eventually made their red carpet debut in December 2022 and attended the Met Gala together earlier this year. In February 2023, Waterhouse told the Sunday Times, “I’m shocked that I’m so happy with someone for nearly five years.” (Here’s a full relationship timeline.)
Pregnancy rumors began to swirl in Fall of 2023 as Waterhouse was spotted with what looked like a baby bump, and fans noticed that she’d followed pregnancy- and parenting-related accounts on Instagram.
Suki Waterhouse’s most recent project was the Amazon Video adaptation of Daisy Jones and the Six, in which she played keyboardist Karen Sirko.
