Gigi Hadid and Zayn Malik welcomed a baby girl into their family last weekend, and the little one is already being showered with fashionable gifts from the couple’s close friends. Hadid took to her Instagram stories to share a picture of her baby wearing a white monogrammed Versace outfit gifted to her by none other than the Italian fashion designer Donatella Versace herself.
The image also featured the newborn wrapped in a satin baby pink blanket that was presented and hand-embroidered by musician Taylor Swift. Hadid captioned the image, “From Auntie Donatella Versace,” and “Auntie Taylor Swift made this.” Hadid and Malik have collaborated with Versace over the years, and the model has walked in numerous fashion shows and starred in multiple campaigns for the fashion house. Hadid and Versace have grown close, often gushing over each other on social media to mark special occasions.
Swift and Hadid have also fostered a close friendship since 2014. In addition to celebrating Friendsgivings, Fourth of July parties, New Year’s Eves and birthdays together, Hadid confessed to Variety that she’s also the singer’s ‘biggest fan.’
Hadid and Malik announced the birth of their daughter last Wednesday, with black and white snaps shared to Instagram. The former One Direction singer shared a touching post, calling their precious gift “healthy and beautiful.” He captioned the post: “To try put into words how i am feeling right now would be an impossible task. The love i feel for this tiny human is beyond my understanding. Grateful to know her, proud to call her mine, & thankful for the life we will have together.” Shortly after, Hadid shared her heartfelt message, writing: “Our girl joined us earth-side this weekend and she’s already changed our world. So in love.”
