Of late we’ve come to the realisation that, even though Central Perk closed its doors 15 years ago, Courteney Cox, Lisa Kudrow, Matthew Perry, Matt LeBlanc, Jennifer Aniston and David Schwimmer are still really good Friends. Is it any wonder, then, that Cox spent a whole day this week with some of her beloved former cast members?
Taking to Instagram, Cox shared a selfie of herself and Perry enjoying a nostalgic lunch together. “Guess who I had lunch with today… I KNOW!! Could I BE any happier? #realfriends”
On the same day, Cox graced the red carpet with Aniston and Kudrow at the SAG-AFTRA Foundation 4th Annual Patron of the Artists Awards in Beverly Hills. The trio – all dressed in a monochrome palette – enjoyed a girls’ night out to celebrate Aniston’s philanthropic efforts.
At the end of October, Aniston delighted fans when she joined Instagram. Within hours of her first post, which featured all of the Friends cast members, Instagram… crashed. Aniston went on to issue a light-hearted apology: “I swear I didn’t mean to break it… Thank you guys for the kind, glitchy welcome,” she captioned her second post, a clip of her hitting her phone against a table as two assistants look on.
