Hours after Fendi sent models down its Fall 2017 Menswear show sporting the word “Fendi” stenciled into the backs of their shaved heads, Zoë Kravitz took to Instagram to debut a similar rule-bending look. The face of Saint Laurent posted a photo to her two million followers with a pastel blue heart carved neatly into the bottom of her freshly buzzed undercut that’s only visible when her hair is secured into a ponytail or swept over to one side. The bold hair transformation was dreamed up by hairstylist Daniel Moon (@majormoonn on Instagram, 32K followers) of the Beverly Hills Ramirez Tran Salon. Moon styled the multi-colored buzz cut recently sported by Adwoa Aboah and the peroxide dreadlocks Kravitz debuted a couple of months ago. A sartorial love letter of sorts, the cerulean heart that sits at the nape of her neck adds a romantic touch to an otherwise punkish haircut and makes an argument for wearing your heart on your head come Valentine’s Day.
