Yara Shahidi Shines as Dior’s Newest Beauty Ambassador

Part-Middle Eastern actor Yara Shahidi has revealed her first beauty campaign shots as a Global Dior Brand Ambassador. Along with the official Dior Instagram account, the award-winning actress and producer shared a first look at her serene portrait for the Forever makeup collection, with the 21-year-old wearing a minimalist beauty look highlighting her Dior Forever foundation in shade 5N.

After officially joining as a face of Dior in summer 2021, the Grownish star is the latest addition to Dior’s line-up of A-list beauty ambassadors, which currently include actresses Natalie Portman, Charlize Theron, Anya Taylor-Joy, and Elizabeth Debicki, Blackpink’s Jisoo, and model Cara Delevingne.

A behind-the-scenes sneak peek of her yet to be released full campaign shows the Harvard student posing with other models in monochrome Dior pieces for the upcoming Dior Forever Sisterhood campaign.

The Dior account captioned its post with “A NEW GENERATION FOREVER IS COMING… Dior Global Brand Ambassador @YaraShahidi, award-winning actress, producer, and inspiring change agent, is now part of the Forever sisterhood movement as the new face alongside @NataliePortman.” Shadidi then commented below “that surreal moment when you’re scrolling on instagram and see that your makeup campaign just dropped”.

The American actor, who was born in the USA to an Iranian father and African-American mother, has previously also paid tribute to her Middle Eastern roots, having collaborated with Adidas on designs inspired by Farsi text and Iranian architecture.
