The smoky eye. A classic in the beauty books. One, that the creative and image director for Christian Dior Makeup, Peter Philips drew upon for the houses fall 2019 couture show. Hinting his work a few days ago by posting a Tri(O)blique eyeshadow palette on his Instagram page, this was the same palette which inspired the final makeup look. Creating a halo of shadow across the eye he blended kohl liner on top. Forgoing mascara, the vibe was that of an haute couture look. Strong but not too seductive.
