For the launch of the Nike React, its new Flyknit trainer, the sporting giant has brought together some seriously inspirational women. Four-time German boxing champion Zeina Nassar (wearing the Nike Pro Hijab, of course) leads the pack, along with French sprinter Estelle Raffai, who medaled at the 2017 World U20 Championships. British sprinter and Olympic bronze medalist Dina Asher-Smith is next in line, with South African middle-distance runner and Olympic gold medalist Caster Semenya completing the group.

Known for her first appearance in the Nike Pro Hijab launch, Nassar represents Muslim women in this stellar lineup. This time, the product she models is the Nike React, which aims to offer runners a lightweight shoe that is durable. After purportedly being tested for more than 2,000 hours and trying out more than 400 combinations of processing and chemistry, the prototype was finally ready. Cue 27,000km of running and Nike claims to be sure it has created a shoe that makes running fun. That’s a tall order, to be sure — but it’s truly the case, you can sign us up for one in every color.

The Nike React will be available across the Middle East from February 22 online and at select retailers.
