The Spa at the recently opened Mandarin Oriental in Dubai is no different. Designed with inspiration drawn from the desert that surrounds it, it is truly a welcoming oasis. Lines of undulating sand dunes flow through the space leading guests to one of the nine treatment rooms, including a VIP suite and heat and water facilities. Guests can switch off and unwind, with ambient lighting, natural elements and soothing music enhancing each experience. Areas have also been created so you can relax in complete privacy.

Known for its signature treatments, The Spa at Mandarin Oriental in Dubai is no different from its sister spas across the world. On the menu the Oriental Harmony treatment which has been perfected for those with jet lag. Then, the Digital Wellness Escape which has been created with combating the skin-damaging effects of technology. Exclusive to the spa and inspired by the region two unique massages join this lineup. Taking guests on a sensory experience, the Nomadic Sensory journey captures the spirit of the Emirati Bedouin life by working with a rhythmic ritual featuring the beat of an Arabic goblet drum, also known as the Doumbek.

Locally-sourced artisanal products are also key in the treatments, where hand blended aromatics such as mogra jasmine and indigenous herbs are key to the treatment. Spa products include homegrown brand Hammamii, Ayurveda inspired Subtle Energies and Ling New York which fuses Asian health principles with the latest technology in the world of beauty. Presented in the reception area, guests can take a little luxury away with them whilst also browsing through bespoke products created by the Mandarin Oriental itself.
