By now you will have probably heard the whisperings of spas opening across the region. As lockdown restrictions ease many of our favorite wellness spots are beginning to take appointments. As expected, for our safety, strict precautionary measures have been put in place. Therapists must continuously wash their hands; disposable wooden sticks must be used to apply creams and scrubs and one-use bed covers must be used and changed between client appointments. In the meantime saunas, steam rooms, inhalation rooms, ice rooms, jacuzzis, hot baths, and public hammams will all remain closed. Temperature checks, face masks, and social distancing of two meters also apply and are a small price to pay for a little me time.
