The impacts of coronavirus have left many of us having to cut back on things that we love, but don’t necessarily need. However, Dubai-based beauty salon, That Hair Tho is providing that glimmer of hope and TLC for the women who cannot currently afford it. Also known as THT, That Hair Tho is offering a complimentary haircut, wash, and blow-dry, to any woman in the city who has either lost her job or is leaving the country due to the pandemic.
THT, located in Jumeirah Lake Towers, has embodied its mantra of giving back and supporting those who are in need perfectly with this offer which is running between September and October. The salon has also stated that it will offer support to women who have impending interviews and are in need of a haircut or a little confidence boost ahead of their interview.
The team at THT is at the forefront of specialized and professional beauty care, are offering three appointments available per day, in line with the offer, in the hope of lifting the spirits of women who currently deserve some much-needed self-care.
The salon is currently open in line with government guidelines and has taken further preventative measures to ensure that their clients, and team, are safe. THT was founded by Kate Darling, who launched the salon “in a bid to create a safe space for women where they can express themselves freely”. The salon offers a variety of treatments, focusing on hair, nails, lash and brow treatments and offer a wide range of tailor-made and salon exclusive treatments which are all vegan, sustainable, and gluten-free. Founder Darling says, “THT is a dream come true. The beauty industry is a forever changing one. There is never a shortage of new ideas, trends, and there is constant invention. We aspire to keep up these trends and launch new ones.”
