If you happen to be transiting through Doha this month, you can get your hands on the new limited-edition TFK (The Fragrance Kitchen) perfumes called Rolling and Action, which is only available at the brand’s Doha Duty Free retail point. It comes as no surprise that the new line up from the Kuwait-based perfume house launched the covetable scents at Qatar’s Hamad International Airport. Indeed, Sheikh Majed Al Sabah, the founder, often credits travel as one of his main sources of inspiration. The savvy jetsetter is constantly on the move exploring exotic locales that he shares with his 347K followers on Instagram.

Distilling the restless feeling derived from the process of creating and the anticipation of a big reveal, Al Sabah bottles the built-up tension through heavy combinations of spice, rose and wood. A refined oud base embraces the region’s traditional scents and adds a weighty permanence to the olfactory mixture. Al Sabah tapped emerging Latvian-Australian photographer Nikija Biseniece to encompass the inspiration behind the two blends, housed in stark white vessels featuring black toppers and graphic visuals.

With the doors of TFKs’ flagship boutique to open at Doha Festival City this year, the unisex fragrance brand was recently picked up by Bergdorf Goodman. “My love for perfume started at a very young age,” Al Sabah shares with Vogue Arabia about establishing a perfume line. “My grandmother was inspirational force, who taught me how to mix and create my own scents. Her daily use of oud, taif rose and the burning agarwood influenced me to start my own brand.”

TFK’s Rolling and Action fragrances are exclusive to Doha Duty Free at Hamad International Airport, Qatar during month of March and April, 2017.
