Stop Your Makeup From Smudging With This Huda-Approved Hack

Huda Kattan has showcased a notably usable beauty hack in her latest Reels video, as part of her tried and tested video series, where the beauty mogul has kept her followers entertained by testing out the internet’s most unlikely beauty trends, tips, and hacks. While some beauty tricks fail to hit the mark, the Huda Beauty founder has also uncovered some gems, showcasing them to her 51.3 million Instagram following.

Her latest makeup hack trial recreated a practical tip first posted by American TikToker Parmida Robateau, cleverly using loose setting powder to prevent her sunglasses from smudging her foundation. After watching Robateau’s video, Kattan says she is beyond shook, calling the method “the hack that everyone is needing”. “When I do my makeup, I can never wear sunglasses after spending so much time on my nose contour as I’m afraid it’s going to ruin it,” explains Kattan in her response video.

Putting the hack to the test, Kattan uses her finger to dab a bit of loose setting powder onto the inside of her sunglasses bridge, letting it stick to the plastic frame, before sliding on the oversized sunglasses. Kattan is thrilled to find the beauty tip works perfectly, with her makeup remaining flawless and just a small amount of powder residue left on her sunglasses.
