Cleanse

Washing your face is the most basic and essential step of any routine. Our recommendation is to wash twice a day, morning and night, to prevent clogged pores, dullness, and acne.

At Home: We advise using our Diamond Cocoon Daily Cleanser in the morning and Diamond White Rich Luxury Cleanse in the evening. These formulations work best when applied with dry hands on a dry face. Use dry hands to apply and extend the product, then continue to work it into the skin. Massage with soft circular motions all over your face, neck, and décolletés. After gently working in the cleanser, add water to your fingertips to help breakdown makeup, dirt, and bacteria. Then rinse! If you like, try the practice of double-cleansing, repeat the steps listed above.

Tone

Toners are all about balancing the skin. Think of a toner as helping to condition the skin – we recommend our Diamond Cocoon Hydrating Essence which is essential in renewing the skin after cleansing, helping the other products in your regimen absorb better, while still balancing your complexion.

At Home: Don’t waste product by using a cotton pad! Applying toner with clean hands is the most efficient. Just pump a few drops in your palm, then glide it on using upward-lifting maneuvers.

Exfoliate

Exfoliation is the magic ritual for unveiling a healthy glow. It’s the process of removing dead skin cells from the surface of your skin and enhances the benefits of other cosmetics you use.

At Home: Always follow exfoliation with hydration. Once the skin is exfoliated, polished, and free of dead skin cells, pores are more receptive to deep hydration and nourishment. When treating your face, don’t forget your hands–apply exfoliation (and a mask) to your hands to keep them looking youthful.

Apply A Serum

Serums are powerful skin allies. A serum functions a shot of extremely concentrated nutrients, hydrators, and antioxidants that amp up your skin health as soon as you apply them.

At Home: Take an extra moment to work your serum into the skin using your fingertips. Massage helps increase circulation and product absorption, especially around target areas like your forehead and around your eyes contour. Finish with soft finger tapping over the entire area to set the product.

Moisturize

Be sure to hydrate your skin twice a day to keep it soft, protected, and healthy. Everyone needs moisture, but the texture of your moisturizer will differ depending on your skin needs and texture preference. It’s also important to assess what type of moisturizes are best for your AM routine and PM routine. More often than not, you should be using different moisturizes for different times of the day to best compliment your complexion.

At Home: If you like the no make-up look or a base to your foundation during the day, it’s best to use a moisturizer with a tint of color like our Diamond Cocoon Sheer cream. At night, a better pairing for your overnight renewal regimen is Diamond Extreme that is full of regenerative properties. Make the most of your moisturizer with an easy lifting massage: Always lift up to help fight gravity. Apply pressure from inward, out when you first extend your moisturizer. Then move the cream from the chin toward your forehead but, remember to lift in upward motions and use firm pressure!

Apply An Eye Cream

The skin around the eyes is quite thin and delicate, so it’s important to keep this area hydrated and protected all day long. For best application, smooth your eye cream around the orbital bone.

At Home: Struggling with puffiness? Apply your eye cream from the inner corner of the eye outward towards the temple. This will stimulate circulation and help decongest the area, therefore, reducing puffiness and the appearance of dark circles.

Don’t Forget Your Neck

In the words of our Director of Research & Innovation: “The first thing I learned from our skincare experts is that the face-neck balance is essential to a harmonious appearance.” With finer muscles and fragile skin, the neck and décolleté are constantly subject to movement and bad posture which accelerates the aging process. When selecting your neck treatment don’t forget to incorporate serums, masks, and moisturizers to complete your “néckolleté” regimen.

At Home: Don’t forget to apply the treatment to the back of your neck and your ears. Also, use gentle pinches to define your jawline.

Mask

Masks are easy to apply, fun to use, and deliver results. Set aside a bit of “me” time by dedicating an extra 5-10 minutes to apply a treatment mask. Masking helps all your other skincare products work more efficiently.

At Home: If you want your day and nighttime products to be absorbed by your skin quicker and deeper, then a face mask is a must! Enjoy your treatment masks after applying your serum and moisturizer.

Intensive Treatment

Anyone interested in skincare knows how important sleep and rest are to obtaining radiant skin.

At Home: At night, the skin is in “repair mode” and undergoes a renewal process that allows your skin to more effectively absorb active ingredients. This is why it’s important to select nighttime products that have powerful, regenerative ingredients we suggest out Diamond Extreme Night Dual Treatment.
