The process
Offering a true VIP experience, on entering the Sisters Beauty Lounge at The Dubai Mall you are whisked away into a private consolation room big enough for a group of friends – should you wish to make the pamper session a full-on ladies’ day or night out. Here you are greeted by Jamilla Paul, a renowned global hair artist and also one of the most gregarious and entertaining people in the business – ideal when a hair treatment can take a couple of hours. She keeps the mood positive and fun at all times.
Before the treatments start, Paul, whose clients include top brands including Dior, Versace, and Rami Kadi, conducts a quick consolation, offering a very honest assessment of the current state of your hair, determining the best color to flatter your skin and the ideal cut to compliment your face shape. Once your look is decided you are assisted to another private room for your mani/pedi treatment while Paul works on your hair color – the schedule and process is impressively time efficient. The manicure and pedicure includes a hand and foot treatment – opt for the scrub and mask, which leaves your mitts feeling silky smooth. When the nails are dried, it’s time for the brow treatment where the technician works her magic. Whether you want to go fuller or thinner – she also offers her advise – she will sculpt and dye the perfect brows.
Finally, back to the basin where Paul washes out the color treatment and applies the renowned Sisters Glaze, which revamps your luscious hair and adds that extra oomph to your color. While cutting your hair, Paul is like a fountain of knowledge advising the best way to wash and look after your locks – buy a filter water filter for your shower and never rub your hair with a towel when drying – pat it instead – also opt for organic products as chemicals in our shampoos and styling products seep through our skin.

The results
The complete pamper session took around five hours, which sounds long but actually flies by considering the number of treatments. The hair and brow treatments were executed to an impeccable standard, meanwhile the mani/pedis were adequate but a little uneven. However, with the level of attention, and the A-list caliber of talent, made it a worthwhile investment/splurge.
