Adding to the French maison’s collection of lipsticks, Hermès has introduced its first beauty product for face, a range of cheek colors. The Rose Hermès launch includes eight shades of the Rose Hermès Silky Blush, a finely-milled pressed powder. Enclosed in a chic gold and white clamshell compact design by Pierre Hardy, each blush is buildable, offering both a sheer wash of color and a more intense cheek flush.
In line with a pink theme, the eight shades span from a creamy apricot, to petal pinks and a warm-toned rose. “It is a palette of shades that sketches contours without fixing them, animating the face, and giving it movement. Evanescent, progressive, almost blurred, Rose Hermès lends itself to every transformation,” describes Jérôme Touron, creative director of Hermès Beauty.
Imprinted with Hermès’ signature twill weave, the mineral powder formula is infused with vitamin E – apply with the new Hermès blush brush and travel blush brush, made in France with lacquered wood and hand-assembled goat bristle fibers. Perfumer Christine Nagel has created a new fragrance exclusively for the Rose Hermès Silky Blush collection, with notes of arnica and cream sandalwood illuminated by hints of green tea.
Complete the look with the quirky, pop of pink Pommette blush case, a miniature calfskin case with shoulder strap, and just enough room to carry a Rose Hermès Silky Blush and a travel blush brush.
Joining the Rose Hermès color story is three Rosy Lip Enhancers. A curious matte balm formula, they leave a hint of hydrating tint on lips, with a subtle blurring effect. In a Middle East first, the collection is able to be shopped exclusively in Dubai ahead of its global launch on April 15, 2021. A Rose Hermès pop-up in Dubai’s Mall of the Emirates’ Central Galleria offers an exclusive preview of the new collection.
